One of the latest trailers was shared on YouTube on August 22, 2023. The trailer’s description reads: “Today, the cosmos is calling. Join Intel officer Isaak Paktu and Fleet Commander Imogen S’jet on a mission spreading across the galaxy.

As a new and ruthless enemy, known only as the Higarans, emerges suddenly and launches a devastating attack, Highgarans must be explored—an anomaly where the famous Karan S’jet had disappeared without a trace. Epic, stunning, and entirely unique, the multiple award-winning science-fiction RTS, HomeWorld 3, returns.”

Home World 3 Gameplat Trailer

On August 25, 2023, a gameplay trailer was released, showcasing the new co-op mode for Home World 3. Gearbox stated, “Commanders will need to manage the power struggle between enemy waves and lay claim to powerful artifacts that enhance each fleet’s capabilities. Based on performance, players will unlock additional artifacts and starting fleets that keep the challenge fresh.”

According to the trailers, the game will feature epic battles between advanced fighter craft, colossal megaliths, and the mysteries of space.

In the meantime, fans can certainly hope for Home World 3 to be available on macOS. It’s likely, as previous games have been made available on Apple’s operating system.
