About The Series ‘Lawmen Bass Reeves’
The spin-off of the hit TV series Yellowstone, “Lawmen Bass Reeves,” will be released on Paramount Plus towards the end of this year. The premiere of the new series will take place on Sunday, November 5th, with two episodes available in the UK and internationally.
On Thursday, Paramount+ tweeted the teaser trailer for the upcoming series. Sharing the video trailer, they wrote, “This is the untold story of a great American lawman… Can you handle the weight of justice? Lawmen Bass Reeves premieres on November 5th, streaming exclusively on #ParamountPlus.”

Casting Details
The cast of the new series includes Lauren E. Banks from City on a Hill, Shia Wigham from Perry Mason, Dennis Quaid from Goliath, and Donald Sutherland from The Hunger Games. Also joining the upcoming series are Margot Bingham from The Walking Dead, Del Dickey from True Blood, Mo Brings Plenty from Yellowstone, Tosin Morohunfola from The Chi, Forest Goodluck, Barry Pepper, and King Richard’s Demi Singleton.
Earlier on August 9, 2023, Paramount Plus released a teaser for “Lawmen:” on their official YouTube channel. The teaser’s description reads: “Lawmen:” comes from executive producer Taylor Sheridan and features award-winning actor David Oyelowo. This series brings to life the story of the famous lawman and outlaw in the Wild West.”
Paramount Plus has described Reeves as “the greatest frontier hero in American history, who, as a federal peace officer in the post-Reconstruction era, worked in Indian Territory and apprehended over 3,000 of the most dangerous criminals without ever being shot.
